Sometimes Lily gets insulted when I move and will fuss at me and jump over to the dresser, but other times she'll just move with me as I roll over. I usually sleep on my right side and often put an extra pillow against my chest to wrap my arms around; Spike likes to lie on that pillow and if it isn't there, will stand and wait for me to fix it for him. The last couple of nights Babalu has wanted on the pillow, so he and Spike have had words. Nothing like having cats arguing on the bed!

I wish Babalu would find a new place on the bed because he normally wants to lie directly in front of my face and will keep trying to get closer and closer, raising up and flopping himself against my face. I'll move my head back so there isn't cat hair up my nose and he will start over with his squirming.....picture a cat rolling around on the floor and transfer that activity to the portion of bed that is within six inches of my face and you'll have Babalu's bedtime routine. The only reason I let him get by with it is because he's so neurotic and jumpy that it's the only time he ever feels safe enough to get near me. If I'm not lying down he's afraid and runs when I enter the room.....the boy ain't right!
