After making a couple of trips to the mountains in order to see fall color, we're now enjoying it here at home. We're supposed to pick up some wind and rain from the outer edges of Hurricane Sandy, so figure most of the leaves will come down over the next few days. There is a cold front lurking around as well.....they are actually calling for snow in our mountains.
Margie, are they forecasting snow in your area?
Janine, hope your headache is better.
Shannon, you're due some happy time....hope the nervous breakdown that you've schedules for November 1st won't be too severe!
Marsha, are your legs doing any better?
Ann, I'm with you.....I like to sleep in a cool room.
Slow weekend here, so not much to report. I did some cooking this afternoon with the intention of taking most of it to my aunt and uncle. They eat supper early, and since I didn't get it done in time to take it over there this evening, will take it tomorrow after work. Aunt Elma is an excellent cook, but she's so tired from looking after Uncle Otis that I try to take them something a couple times a week. He has been having some rough days lately, and was bad enough Thursday evening that Aunt Elma called me to ask if I would come spend the night with them.
Hope you will all have a blessed Sunday!
